MP Tourism: The Heart of Incredible India

Great concept, great execution!!!
theyve covered all the possible destinations in the ad and the voiceover is so catchy, one just waits for it to be aired again.
the ad is a sequel to a similar ad that was aired around an year back, but that was all animation and a voiceover. There was also a very catchy radio ad for MP tourism too around that time, which had a story to it. Seems like the agency is doing some good creative stuff here!!!

  1. Great ad. I don't understand why such ads are sent out only for Madhya Pradesh? Is it State funded initiative? Isn't it supposed to be an ad from Incredible India... if it is then why no publicity for the other tourist spots and why extra attention to MP?

  2. Its an ad funded by the MP State Tourism Development Board. The board has its tag line which goes like "The Heart of Incredible India". So its not supposed to be confused with the incredible India initiative at all.
    Why there are ads only for MP Tourism is something that the other state tourism boards can answer :)

  3. Hmmmm! That's a big question. But, I guess the reason could be that mostly state tourism is benefitted/ earns its revenues from foreign tourists rather than its own countrymen. So, putting any money on publicity inside the country is a waste. Then, why MP Tourism??

  4. Great thought. Ive been thinking over it for a day now and the only explanation I could come up for it is that the ad is not targeted at the foreign tourists but at the domestic tourist looking for newer options. Its these domestic tourists that spend lakhs travelling to places like Europe and South East Asia. Give them an option within India and they too can be a great revenue source for you.
